This patient had to have her front tooth extracted due to a root fracture. She had an implant placed by one of our periodontal specialists and came to our office immediately following the implant placement to have a temporary crown inserted. This was accomplished in less than two hours using local anesthetic.

The patient wore her temporary for a few months while she was completing her college semester. In the summer she returned to have her new crown inserted and the photos you see are of the new tooth in place.

The patient was happy that she never was without her front tooth and that it always looked as good as the one she had prior to the fracture even while wearing the temporary.
